What if you wanted to use that result set in a grid with a check box in a column for the operator to delete and recall records?

I know you could use the delete flag as part of your query and just display deleted/not records in your dataset. In this case I need both displayed, therefore, how could the operator know which records had been previously deleted when the delete flag magically disappears?
