Mike Stewart assures us the Test Harness has been fixed in 8 to work with XP.
Maybe it's me.
I run test harness. Click RECORD. I do not get a list of VFP app running. Asks for name for script. Type name. New VFP window is launched. EXE files that run fine do nothing when run in the this new instance.
Try again. This time launch app first. Open another VFP, run test harness. Record. Test harness behaves as before, launching another instance of VFP with nothing in it. Switch to running app. do some stuff. return to test harness and run script. Nothing - it recorded the nothing I did in the VFP it opened for me.
I know I'm missing something here. It doens't crash on XP like it used to but I still don't seem to understand how to get it to work.
Could somebody test this thing and give me the step by step to make it work. Feel free to talk to me like I'm an idiot < g >
