Yes, there is a way around this. We added this capability starting in VFP7.

Try Tools/Option, IDE tab. Select Program files from the Type dropdown.

Check "Show Line/Column postion" checkbox, then check the "Override individual settings" checkbox. Set as default, then OK and you should be good to go.

>I don't know why but everytime I upgrade, I have to check "Show line/column position" for every PRG I am opening. Even if the setting is in Tools/Options, it has no effect on actual PRG that I already opened. Is there a way to broadcast this setting to all PRG settings already in FoxUser?
