What are you still doing up?

Montreal's not too bad a drive from Western Mass. and it is a great city, but I probably won't make it up there. Assuming conditions are right, I'd almost certainly do a Boston class (conditions being I haven't over committed myself and I haven't already picked it up).

I'll keep my eyes open for your email announcements to see if you coordinate one. Later this year just might work. I wouldn't be ready for the next couple of months anyways.

On another note, you know that wish list I sent a while back for the MM framework and that I mentioned I'd post on the UT? I actually had a project where I had to build much of that stuff myself. MM was very conducive to a lot of that. For example, one of my requests was a batch object. I just subclassed kBizObj to an abstract batch object, and subclassed the events object to an abstract batch manager, and it coordinates the business object and the batch object (and a log object, also a subclass of kBizObj). Works really well. I've really gotten to know the MM data access/data environment/bizobj coordination quite well in the process. Very elegant.

Take care,

David
