I ran into this on a piece of software I inherited. In just about all of the text fields attached to table fields, I had to go in and set one or the other.

>>>Can anyone advise as to how/why too many characters are being accepted in a texbox?
>>>Here is the scenario:
>>>I have a text box with a control source of a field in table that is 30 characters. If I don't specify an input mask, 45 character can be input then the field redisplays as the correct 30 characters.
>>>I belive that this text class was working fine until I added a navigation class included with the VFP 7 samples.
>>>
>>>Thank you in inadvance.
