Kevin,

are you using cdx-indices with Clipper. If so, everything should work. I have had Clipper and Fox apps sharing data. I used sixcdx-drivers which is a better cdx-driver than the one that is shipped with Clipper. The locking schemes are identical making it possible to lock records with both clipper and fox.
When locking...are you unlocking and flushing as well (in clipper).

>We are running two different exe's using the same tables. One is in Clipper and the other is in Visual Fox Pro. It seems that sometimes when we try to add records at the same time the old clipper app does, most of the clipper ones do not add and the visual ones go in, but with an index out of order. We perform reindexing on off hours every night, but this tends to be annoying. I do a reclock() on the new appended record too.
