Is there any reason that

"IMPORT FROM c:\Temp\PR20021219THRU20021219.xls DATABASE Time NAME Citgo TYPE XLS"

Works fine from the command line but crashes when run inside of an app?

Error message returned is

"File PR20021219THRU20021219.dbf already exists as part of a database"

I have tried it with the xls and without. Returns the same message. I have no idea where the extension in the error message is comming from???
