Any chance we could get a postlogin hook from the do method of the application object?

I have three needs for this:
1) I'm creating two versions of the same app. In the "server" version (which runs on the server), only a select group of folks can get in. I added an entry to the Users table, which I'd like to check in a postlogin hook.
2) When certain maintenance functions are running, I want to limit access to the system administrators.
3) I can give administrators the ability to turn on/off the auto-shutdown functionality.

If the hook returns .f., the application should close.
