Fabio answered the first question. I'll only add that for example, the new XmlAdapter class allows you to make a single xml document with several cursors inside (much like a .NET DataSet, but called a VfpDataSet).

As for the 2nd one, a made a few tests although I wasn't timing this function's performance, but I didn't noticed much change, and I think this is due to the MSXML parser, not the function itself. Until a smarter version comes, I assume the performance would be much the same.
