Well, I just figured out what the problem is:

I considered using a list box at one time, because the table from which I pull the data has over 33k records in it. I knew this was a dumb thing to do at the time, but for screen space, having a combo box was more desireable; I knew at some point that the array might overflow, but didn't know when. Well, it has exceeded the number of variables limit and has overflowed big time.

I will have to somehow rearrange things on the screen and have the client get used to it, but this will be a selection in a list box now, rather than an array in a combo box.

Sorry for all the trouble folks, but sometimes we don't think when we are tired and it's been a long day, so now with a new morning I am ready to hit it once again and figure this out. Well, I just wish I had figured this out sooner.
