Ken, but, since you can't do DEFINE CLASS MyEmpty AS Empty (cause you can't subclass it) you can't DO THIS IN A PRG EITHER!!! So, as I said, the docs are misleading. I don't know why you don't see this. Empty is the FIRST class in VFP that you can't subclass so I don't think there is somewhere else in the doc I could point you to.
