I believe this was a problem in VFP 5.0, (I don't remember if it was fixed in SP 3 - it is in VFP 6.0/7.0/8.0), but the workaround is to bracket the REPORT commands with a PUSH / POP Menu. e.g.

PUSH MENU _MSYSMENU
REPORT FORM equipment.frx TO PRINTER PROMPT PREVIEW NOCONSOLE
POP MENU _MSYSMENU
