Hi Rick,

I do not have my system set with snap to grid. Do you mean that no matter whether you "snap to" or not you may still get the same behavior?

I have:

  1. Form - GridLines = .f.
  2. Form - Snap To = .f.
  3. Form - Horiz Grid = 12
  4. Form - Vert Grid = 12

  1. Report - GridLines = .f.
  2. Report - Snap To = .f.
  3. Report - Horiz Grid = 12
  4. Report - Vert Grid = 12

Thanks

Glenn (Ricks hair double)

>Hi Glenn,
>Well I can't check what the beta does anymore, but the real one seems to work "right". In the Menu->Tools->Options->Forms (tab), what have you got set for Grid lines, Snap to grid, and the Horizontal and Vertical spacing? Mine are checked and 4.

>>In VFP8.0 beta if you move object on a design surface, form, report, class using the "scoot" feature (ctrl+arrow) the object first drops down 1 or 2 pixels and then scoots in the expected way.
