>You are saying that you can use the Empty class in the VCX system since you could do a createobject("empty") in code for a VCX, which is what I was reponding to. It seems what you are saying, in summary, that the Empty class help docs should not even mention it can be used in PRG and not VCX, but instead just say it is not subclassable at all. Sound right?

Right, cause there is nothing you can use/do with the empty class in a PRG that you can't use/do in a VCX. So, just removing that line will remove confusion.

I think people are going to read this as... oh, I can't 'use' empty in a VCX and not equate use = DEFINE cause you can't DEFINE a class as empty.

Just so we are on the same page, I think the following line, the first in the Empty class topic should be removed from the doc, cause it is incorrect/confusing if not just plain incorrect:

"The Empty class is only available within a program (.prg) file and cannot be defined in a visual class library (.vcx) class library."
