This is the situation.

Rolled out new laptops with XP on them. This was a last minute change so I wasn't able to figure out how to do some things via GPOs from Active Directory. I had to set the policies on the machine with gpedit.msc. Now that time has passed and I've learned some things on how to set XP policy settings from a 2000 Active Directory I've stumbled upon a problem. As of yet, I haven't been able to find out how to override the settings that were changed locally with the ones that I need to push down from Active Directory. Is there a way to do that?
