Funny you mention that. That is exactly what I did. Sometimes, it takes me awhile to get on with what is needed.

I examined my word document with DEBUG and found that Word uses only chr(13) to denote the beginning of a new list paragraph and chr(11) for the beginning of a paragraph that is not supposed to be a new list item.

So then, it was a matter of eliminating all of the chr(10)s and replace all chr(13)s with chr(11)s.

It now seems to work.
