That folder has the hidden attribute. You would need to set up Explorer to see hidden files and folders to see it with Explorer.

>Jim, thanks for your reply. FWIW, I have WinXP Pro but do not have a \windows\installer folder. I did a search on my hard drive for msi files and found them sprinkled all over, mostly under various subfolders under \Program Files. Hope this doesn't indicate a problem. Seems more organized to have them in a specific folder.
