The Install Shield Visual Fox Edition that comes on the VFP 7 CD is un necessarily complicated. It sometimes takes longer to get a correct installation going than to actually write the app itself.

I much prefer the VFP 6 install which, while not having all these flash options, did a reasonable job and took less than a minute to setup & complete.

Maybe I am going about this the wrong way.

Maybe someone has some sort of template that I can use when all I want is to install the App, some other files like tables, sometimes Activex and of course the runtimes?

Is there some quick way of creating an installation in VFP 7 without spending hours going thru all those options?

Please help as I am totally frustrated after it crashed on me for the nth time .
