Did you also notice there own VIEW DESIGNER fails for the same reason with group by clause? We removed the view (created in fox 7 SP 1) and recreated it EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. Now it works. I'm very concerned about this behavior and even more concerned that I don't see many (if any) postings about the problem.
