Thanks for the info Al. Its good to know there are no know problems with samba of which I was unaware.

OpenBSD is a unix operating system. It is reported to be more stable/reliable than even Linux. It is very popular with ISP running Apache. I have heard only good things about it. There are so many unix/linux OS out there that its hard to keep them all straight. AIX, Sun, Apple OS X, OpenBSD, SCO, Debian, Caldrea, RedHat, HP-UX, SuSE, and then there is Windows. I think samba will run under both Unix/Linux, but I'm not positive. I only have hand on experience with Red hat.
