It's not a translation problem. :-) The Transparent Form sample should probably be called "translucent" instead. When you use the Transparent Form sample, you are just making it so that you can see through the form to what's underneath it. When you use the technique in the irregular form sample, it behaves as though the form isn't even there in the transparent sections: in other words, you can click on items below the form and have them receive focus.

And come to think of it, I'm not sure _which_ way he actually wanted it to be: he didn't specify.
