Generic Print drivers is like turning the clock back!
I remember wrestling with this back in Dbase 3 days - but hey that is a generation or two back!
I seem to recall that some printers in days gone by always buffered the last line. If my memory serves correctly an eject might solve it.
Try setting device to Print
Do all your print stuff.
Eject
Set device to Screen
