If you want to transform the codepage for an expression, check out the CPCONVERT( OldCodePage, NewCodePage, Expression ) function.
If you want to change the code page for a complete table, you should check the CPZERO.PRG utility that comes with VFP ( it's under the TOOLS\CPZERO directory under VFP's program directory).
Usage for this one is: DO CPZERO WITH dbfname, codepage_number
