I have all my details Views settings at Buffering 5 and I don't have this behavior. My Servers are MS-SQLServer & MySQL. So, I don't really know what's happening with your views but I could bet Buffering 5 always works as it should do.
You know - this didn't behave this way back when VFP7 was first released. SP1 for VFP7 must have fixed it.
