Try new user-interface, it will call Shell32.dll function :

GETDIR(CURDIR(),'Choose folder','Folders',64)

>I have a seemingly unresolvable problem using getdir(). It insists on returning a numeric rather than character variable. It is faulty only one subroutine, elsewhere works as normal. Anyone come across such a thing?
