Well, I can't speak for anything specific to their support. However, it's not as if the previous versions of the tool suddenly stopped working. Can't you just continue using the 2.9x version of the product? It's kind of like those "Fox is dead" threads. Even if Microsoft stopped supporting/selling VFP tomorrow, you can still continue to use the existing version indefinitely.
