Since you already know VFP I think the best place for you to start of would be the VFP tool kit for .NET where Kamal has written many of the VFP functions in C# and VB.
Gotdotnet.com is really good if you want to read a lot of stuff.. Especially there common tasks section.
MS Newsgroups can be good and if you get really desperate, post a question here and hope that Cathi answers it!
