Thank you. Calculate is exactly what I was looking for. I am
trying to determine the Next Unique ID and this allows me to bypass creating a cursor and placing the resulting cursor value into a variable. This is in VFP6 and the table is a free table.

If you have any suggestions about a better way to get this value I would appreciate it.
