I received a reply from TIOBE Software regarding my question to them about where VFP stands on their "Programming Community Index" http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm. They replied with the following email. In summary, VFP is currently #36 and will be included in their charts beginning in March. Not sure if this warrants a "News" posting...

Thanks for your feedback on the Programming Community Index.

At the moment Visual FoxPro has a rating of 0.28 which means that it is #36 in our chart (between IDL and Labview). We have the intention to publish the first 60 entries from March, 1st on. That allows you to see what happens to the FoxPro community every month.
