I have not found a way to 100% protect a foxpro .exe yet, however I've been working on something for a while - I'm hoping to get it finished in the next month or two. Once I've finished it I will be posting it here so we all can use it.

>>>can the EXE file generated with VFP built-in encryption be read with REFOX?
>>
>>Yes.

>>>If so, does KONxiSE works instead of having to buy REFOX?
>>
>>Yes, however there is STILL a way to get the source code even if you used KONxiSE. It's a bit more complicated but can still be done.
>>
>>>You pay extortion $ to Xitech, which will then get you a copy of Refox that you can use to "protect" your own source ... for this version of VFP ... Then you start the whole cycle over again with the next version.
>>
>>True, however there is a way to decompile a VFP app that has been branded with a refox password without needing the password.
>>
>>>Then again, if Xitech allows others to "crack" our software, what's wrong with using Refox "cracks" ...
>>
>>Exaclty why I posted the refox hack a while back.
