I don't know what happened there but when I previewed we ended up with this mess posted - "life was not meant to be easy" - as some famous person said!

"FRED"
and I enter
F
now if I enter
R
within the 2 seconds I will be positioned on the first of the
FR
crowd, and so on. Whereas if I had a setting lower than my key rate the
F
would take me to the first one of the
F
crowd, now I enter
R
outside of the time set in _INCSEEK, I will get the first of the
R
crowd - so I would think of that as not incremental. That is all there is to it, put a setting somewhere and allow them to choose their own rate - some of them peck away slower than you would imagine - but hey - its their application - we are just trying to meet their needs and allow them enough flexibility to think we are COOL.
