I want to recompile and rebuild an application using VFP 8.0. But I still want to leave the VFP 6 version unchanged (just in case).
The current VFP 6.0 appl is in directory:
MYAPP
MYAPP\LIBS
MYAPP\FORMS
... etc.
I copied files to:
MYAPP8
MYAPP8\LIBS
MYAPP8\FORMS
... etc.
If I recompile and rebuild the MYAPP8 using VFP 8.0 I think it will compile files in MYAPP\LIBS (because in .VCX files base classes are still referenced to be in MYAPP\LIBS folder).
Is the proper way to do it, to rename the folder MYAPP to something different during recompiling?
