There is one other thing I noticed today on this problem.

The parent switched so I decided to try to re-parent the class back with the "Redefine" context menu choice in the class browser this time. I normally just go straight to the VCX.

I opened the VCX in the class browser and then ran "Select Parent Class" and to my astonishment the tree view showed the good or right parent. However in the info box in the lower right hand corner of the CB It showed the bad class.

I closed the browser and reopened the form with "Modi Class" and looked at the parent in the PEMS (VFP 7.0) and it showed the bad class.

I then opened the VCX as a table and looked at the ClassLoc field which also showed the bad class.

I opened again in the CB and it was showing what I saw above. As If there were two values somewhere in the VCX.

So ????????
