I'm sorry if I misunderstand what I paid an extra few hundread for. I paid a price of the product with support for VFP. The cost of the years upgrade support sure smacks of subscription to me.
If I buy VFP for a few hundread and service packs come out I don't expect to pay for those. But If I buy MSDN I have subscribed to extra's such as new versions not just support for old Versions. So I see this situation in opposition to your position. Free service packs and support for remaining with the old is what I expect. But extra bucks paid is not with the expectation that I just bought the last release of a product.
Now I am willing to concede that the extra bucks I paid were not just to get me VFP upgrades however, I like many in this forum purchase products based primarily on their support for VFP.
I am happy to hear of your decision to modify the VFP interface to work with VUML going forward. I hope that it actually becomes a profitable product for EPS.
