Hi Ryan,
Ok, here goes it. When I click on the Task Pane to open, the default window is the, "Community" selection. As it checks the internet to download new content, I receive 2 errors. (Line 126:| Char 1 | Error : Syntax Error| code: 0| URL: file://C:\program Files\Microsoft Visual FoxPro 8\TaskPane\PaneCache\microsoft.community\pane.xml)
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes/No
It doesn't matter what I click, I still receive another error and the only difference of the previous error message is the line # is @ 149.

The window will still show the Community page, but the NEWS links are missing. There is one box with an picture of a white box with a red X in it, like when you can't see a picture from your internet browser. Also, there is a, "{providervar} in this box.

TroubleShooting:
I deleted the HOME(7) directory, uninstalled and reinstalled VFP 8.0. I also, changed the directory of the HOME(7) to another default location too.
In the TaskPane Options - Task Pane Manager - Customize - I Clicked on the, "Restore to Default" and "Cleanup Tables".

I don't know if this matters, but we received a power outage, and I have WindowsXP Pro. My Search does not work. Microsoft KB Q319949.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Felix Serra
