Hi Hugh - Yes, that's what I usually do - I have temp indexes with cursors and permanent indexes with tables, but I have a multi-user system where I need to have each user capable of doing their own customized indexing on large tables that I don't want to copy to cursors. Temp indexes would be perfect for this, if there were such a thing...Any ideas for this?
