my fll uses the original Windows tooltips, so it also uses the default Windows timeout settings. Any other applications or Windows itself should behave the same way. And guess what < g >, the timeout depends on the doubleclick speed you have configured in the WIndows Control Panel. The timeout is the doubleclick speed * 10. You can see this behaviour clearly, when playing with this setting.

I've been planning to do some major changes to the fll for several weeks already, but my workload doesn't currently allow me to do this. I think I could implement a feature to set the tooltip timeout individually for the fll tooltips, so I'll add this to my to do list.
