I downloaded the api again but it was dated the same date as the version that I had trouble with. The unchanged foxpro example files crashed just as bad as they had before. They apologized again and said to contact the service rep about a DDE upgrade. Supposedly the new dll is available from that process. I'll get back to it in the middle of next week. I have had some success with the ftp process in the mean time. But this is more for not as time critical batch retrievals. I'll keep you posted.
