I would like to check out the linux OS.
First off, I just want let eveyone know that I have never used linux and therefore have no idea what it can do.

(1)Where do I get a copy of linux? I know there are several versions out there. Which version can be used as a good learning tool?

(2)Can I install linux and WIN 2K on the same machine? Dual boot options?

(3)Can I use Visual Studio .NET , SQL 2000 , Visual Basic 6 on a linux machine?
