Hi all,

I'm having trouble with the simplest thing in windows.
I have Win Xp with SP installed and all I'm trying to do is text search in my VFP directories.

My text search will work for *.DOC, *.TXT, *.INI and other files but when it comes to *.SCX or *.SCT it will not find and text match in those files.

I tried associating my files to VFP, I changed the owner of the file, I removed all securities, I disable the Windows Indexing but no matter what I try I can get any results for my text search.

Also I haven't been able to find any documentation or help on this topic.

Can anyone help me or give me other advice, I'm running out of ideas
