we built and offer the whole family of products, using the approach you questioned: WebFramework, WebPortal, WebReport, FormServer, single signon system UnifiedLogon, http clustering, etc. This is the first VFP-based complete environment for building enterpise web-based data-driven systems. We use ASP->COM, ASP.NET->COM and SOAP->COM. In our observations it is a very stable environment. However, I would say that ASP.NET->COM is more statble as compared with ASP->COM, however it is about 10...20% slower. The only problem we've seen is in ASP engine itself.

However, you will be impressed by capabilitites of this entire approach. In fact, we successfully compete with Java shops and deliver much better solutions. We have a fully functional demo site - try and and let me know what do you think,
