Try with DosPrint3 Class it's on Download #9992

>Printing in Visual FoxPro 6.0 is proving to be very troublesome. In the application I am developing, I have tried to use the Report Writer wherever possible. There are a few reports, however, that because of the complexity contained, had to be hand coded. I am printing most of these reports to an OKIDATA ML321 dot-matrix printer. I have used this printer for years in other applications written in Foxpro 2.X with great success, both in the Report Writer and hand coded reports. When I try to print hand-coded reports, the printer switches to NLQ ( Near Letter Quality ) mode immediately. This of course makes for very slow printing. I have tried sending the control code to reset the printer to default mode chr(18), but it continues to switch to NLQ mode. The other troublesome problem is that it seems to only want to print as if there were 8 1/2 wide paper. The ML321 is a wide carriage printer and I have gone into the Windows print manager and tried every combination of print driver with paper supply option I can find. I apologize for the lengthy message, but there are quite a few different aspects to this problem. Even when using the report writer the paper handling ( wide or narrow paper ) is not smooth. I appreciate any and all suggestions and help. Thank you in advance.
