Any chance you are running under Windows 2000 using the "Oki ML 321 Elite" driver? Try the "Okidata
ML 321" or "Okidata ML320/1" drivers and see if it changes in your favor...

I have found that these "different" behaviors are totally dependant on the driver installed. Try testing with each and choose which gives you the best results. The best I have found are for NT4.
