Go into your web.config, find the section called TRACE, change "enabled" to true, and pageoutput to "true". You may also want to change your page, you may want to change PageLayout from "gridlayout" to "flowlayout" so that the trace info is displayed at the bottom of the page page.

This will show for each page, how long everything takes to render and what is the bottleneck for your speed.
