Can't help you with this one. I personally don't like grids/browses for data entry. Grids have a mind of their own on forms so, other than for display or lookup, I like to avoid them. You could display the data in the familiar way they are used to and then, when they want to enter data, launch a modal form on top of the grid.

Trouble is, you will have the riot on your hands. Tell them, "its progress" <s>.
