I must say I simpathize with you; however, I believe you'll find 7's ease of use to outweigh the possible issues with conversion. I'd set it up on a different system and see how it goes, define what has to be modified, and make your decision based on that. Good luck!

>Your answer along is justification for me to upgrade from VFP 6 to version 7. However, I am supporting an application that has old code in it. Approximately 75% of the application has been converted into windows. Some of the code dates back to FoxBase and according to the VFP 7 release notes, some of those commands don't work the same way anymore. My research thus far, indicates it's going to be a job to convert the remaining DOS screens before I can upgrade to version 7. Bummer!
