I spent the morning listening to Robert Green and John Miller from Microsoft talking about linking VFP to SQL-Server. If this 4-5 hr. free seminar comes to your area, and you aren't already working with Client/Server, you should go! John Miller walked us through every step from starting SQL-Server and logging on through how to adjust your DBC to make the Upsizing Wizard work without hiccups finishing with a review of what procedures should be on the client side vs the local side. A simple APP was shown as local and as Client/Server and what changes were made to have equivalent functionality.

We left with a booklet containing his full lecture and an FTP address for the code Mr. Miller showed us, as well as a truly lovely breakfast!

And, of course, Robert Green gave a quick tour of Tahoe and a plug for DevCon :-)
