>I created a VFP7 based COM DLL to use it under Windows 2000. I registered this component through "Component Services". Now the Administrator can use the component from any ASP page, but a common (non-administrator) user can't. The choice "Interactive user" or "this user" as "identity" doesn't seem to make a difference. How can I make the component accessable to use for a non-administrator user? Please provide a step-by-step answer because I'm not very familiair with the 'user rights' issue in Windows 2000.

Locate the component in component services\dcomconfig. Select properties then Security. Edit access rights to allow access to IUSR_< machinename > and IWAM_< machinename > (not sure latter is also needed).
