The ONLY words regarding the functionality of the READWRITE clause of the SELECT - SQL command say "The READWRITE clause specifies that the cursor is temporary and modifiable.".

While these few words make no mention at all regarding its 'impact' in the creation of indexes for the subject cursor, it is a fact that the clause permits that more than one INDEX ON. . . command to be executed against a CURSOR created with the READWRITE clause. This NEEDS to be mentioned in the documentation.

It would also be wise to mention this in the documentation for the INDEX ON... command.
