Our fileserver is 7 years old now, the cpu stays pegged most of the day and the drives are just crunching away. I am looking into upgrade options. All it is used for is serving data files up, that my fox apps use. There are no processes ran on the server at all. It has 3 ultra scsi drives. I was thinking of just adding a snap server to access my data tables instead of replacing the file server.
I was wondering if anyone knows how the snap server compares to a new scsi server system, ultra320. I have looked over the website at snapappliance.com and they dont seem to make any comaparisons.
Or perhaps someone has experience using the snapserver with foxapps.
